Gemela: noun; twin

The idea for Gemela first came to us when we visited the Old Town of Ibiza on our annual sister holiday.

We spent our afternoons trawling the quirky fashion boutiques and markets in the central square, filled with beautiful bespoke pieces. A perfect combination of styles from island life to city living.

After chatting with some of the boutique owners, we left feeling inspired and the decision was made then and there.

As twin sisters who are the best of friends, our love of bohemian fashion and our eye for style created the perfect pairing for our new venture.

So we combined our savings and got to work sourcing designers from all around the globe to help us showcase small capsule collections that promotes slow sustainable fashion pieces that stand alone as unique wardrobe staples.

We are currently collaborating with designers from Scotland, Peru, Turkey & India to produce our own designs which we are so excited about.

We will continue to explore how global artisanship can be valued through the partnership of tradition & sophisticated design.
